About 2 km northwest of Nea Nemea lie the remains of ancient Phlius (or Phlious), also mentioned by Homer. Once a prosperous city due to its agriculture there are now only very little remains - just fundaments of buildings without explanation and a few parts of columns. It is hard to find more information about the site. |
